There is a relatively new genealogy book on Muhlenberg County published in 1996 that contains sections on the following Lees: Lee/Boggess; Lee/Corbin; Lee/Foster; Lee/Gilmore; Lee/Grace; Lee/Hendricks; Lee/Peterson; Lee/Poag; Lee/Rolley. The Lee/Foster bio reads: William G. Lee, believed to be the s/o Jesse and Catherine Lee, was b. in NC, 01 Oct 1818. He m. Martha Jane Foster, 20 Oct 1842, Muhlenberg County. William d. 12 Jan 1901 and was buried in Lee Cemetery. Martha, d/o Richard and Lucinda Foster, was b. in NC, 15 Sep 1824. She d. 23 Sep 1901 and was bu. Lee Cemetery. William and Martha had 12 known children: Jesse Lee; Richard Washington Lee; William G. Lee, Jr. (b. 1849, d. 1936); John M. Lee; Anne L. (Lee) Hardins (b. 20 Jun 1855 and d. 19 Feb 1924) Eliza Lee; Martha J. Lee; Francis (Frank) Lee (b. 25 Feb 1862, d. 18 Dec 1930) and Phinis E. Lee (b. 1865, d. 1940) And then the statement "see related bios.") (Note bio above stated 12 children, but named only 9 if my count is correct.)
