To Grady: 1850 census list of the elderly: Edmond Nanney, 61, VA Jan. 1806 County Court Records John Nanny records his stock mark as "a crop off left ear and upper half crop off the right ear". Feb. 1804 County Court Records Daniel Rhoads was constructing a road to the Logan Co. line. the following men were added to his crew: Samuel A. Grable, James Nanny, Abram Avy, William Pattn, Avery Wood, Jacob Studebaker, Samuel Penrod, Michael Ripple and Adam Billins. April 1804 The last will of Frederick Severs was proved by Henry Rhoads and Abraham Unsell. The executors were Solomon Rhoads and Jesse Jackson. the estate was appraised by Frederick and Abraham Unsell, Henry Rhoads, Sr. and William Smith. Michael Severs, orphan of Frederick, being over 14, chose Frederick Unsell his guardian; Gabriel Severs, orphan of Michale, chose Jacob Severs as his guardian; the court appointed Jacob Severs guardian for Juliana Severs as she was under 14.
