Researching GRIFFITH;FEREDAY;ROSE;ARMSTRONG;WHITEHOUSE My lines come from Lewis L Griffith and Julia Ann Armstrong. Their daughter Martha Elouise married William H. Fereday in 1874 Their son William Lewis was my maternal grandfather. I have traced the Griffith family to York Co PA- through James Griffith I have traced the Fereday family to Tipton England ( part of the Black Country) A connection to the Whitehouse family comes via the Ferday side as Wm Fereday's grandmother was Charlotte Whitehouse. There are Whitehouses in MD living near Roses and Armstrongs who immigrate to Muhlenberg and Todd Co. Griffiths also live in MD before moving to PA.
