In home are: males: 1 - 10/15, 1 - 16/20, 1 - 20/30, 1- 50/60 females: 1- under 5, 1 - 16/20, 1 - 20/30, 1 - 50/60 He still appears in 1860 census, taken June 6, 1860. Dist. 1, Greenville Post Office. pg. 5, HH# 33 Jesse Lee, 85 farmer $500. $500. N.C. Hetta Lee, 75 domestic N.C. James W. Jarvis, 10 Ky (hence he died after June 6, 1860) Assumption that he came between 1830 & 1840, since he did not appear there in 1830. Checking Jesse Lee in N.C. prior to this, best bet might be to start with New Hanover, N.C. Age wise, looks like closest bet in 1830. But we all know how the age thing goes. From book, Muhlenberg County, Ky Abstracts of Wills and Administrations: pg 68 "JESSE LEE, will of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky dated December 2, 1858. To wife Hetty and at her death or remarriage, property is to go to children, unnamed. William W. Martin named Executor. Witnesses: C. C. Martin and F. J. Martin.
