    1. Re: [KYMUHLEN] Marriage records - Att Don Casebier
    2. Hi, Don, I was born "down the road apiece" from Cedar Dale School in 1929. I was the daughter to George and Dee O'Neal. We lived on the Sears place but moved into town ca. 1935 before the dates you mentioned. Several years ago Lennie Dennis and I did a book on the Mt. Carmel church including the Sears Cemetery. Lennie is now deceased but she provided the following: Sears Cemetery Minnie Edith Casebier d/o Leroy and Agnes (Helsley) Cundiff w/o John Robert Casebier 12 Aug 1872 - 19 Nov 1949 (No Marker) Other Casebiers close by: Alpha Marie Casebier d/o Thimoleon and Mary (Curtis) Hatcher w/o John Robert Casebier, Jr. 12 Apr 1912 - 06 Sep 1928 Carlie Casebier d/o Herman & Myrtle Hatcher 30 May 1937 - 15 Jun 1937 Children of Willie & Bernnice (Hatcher) Casebier Walton Elwood Casebier 10 Oct 1937 - 10 Aug 1938 Twins: Virginia Dorris Casebier - Stillborn 19 Jul 1939 William Casebier - Stillborn 19 Jul 1939 Obituary, Newspaper not given. "Mrs. Minnie Casebier of Drakesboro Dies" Drakesboro. Mrs. Minnie E. Casebier, 77, died at 5:45 p.m., Saturday, November 19, (1949) at the Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She had lived in Drakesboro for five years and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Drakesboro Baptist Church, the Rev. Everett Hall officiating, with burial in Sears Cemetery. Surviving are four sons, Will and Henry Casebier, Owensboro; John Casebier, Drakesboro; Thurman Casebier, California; three daughters, Mrs. George Durnaway and Mrs. Myrtle Gas- ____, Owensboro, Mrs. Elsie Hope . . . . (apparently rest was obliterated or torn away). The data I show on John Robert Casebier (Sr.) (not included in book) is that he was born 28 Jan 1864 and died 23 Nov 1942 and buried in the Vanlandingham Cemetery (is this Weir or Sears?). If I'm wrong on any of the above, drop me a line and let me know! Dorann O'Neal Lam
