Jean! Did you know that at one time the Wickliffe family from Greenville, had a coal mine in Muhlenberg County, KY that was in operation for many years at Browder, KY. William A. Wickliffe was the owner. The mine shaft was at Browder, and I'm told that it extended underground for seven miles or more to the East, near Green River at Rochester.
