    1. [KYMUHLEN] Hunsakers / HUNSINGERS, MATHEWS, SHULL, DANIELS
    2. Hello Dorann: I am somewhat interested in the Hunsakers/Hunsingers because of their connection to my SHULL/MATTHEWS/MATHEWS/DANIELS families of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Parts of these families moved north into White County, Illinois where they lived in the Burnt Prairie, Illinois area, 1825-1900. However, there you will find the name mostly evolved to HUNSINGER. Try that spelling, and you should find many. The Hunsingers performed many marriages for members of the Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in Burnt Prairie in the 1800s. If you will post a query on the Rootsweb Mail List for White County, I am sure many Hunsinger researchers will respond. Good luck.
