John, Jacob and Michael. they married into some of the established families of the area and their descendants remain there or nearby. I was born in Drakesboro in 1934; my father Ernest H. Heltsley was born in Drakesboro in 1893; his father, Jacob Harrison Heltsley, was born in Greenville area 1862;Jacob's father, b 1826 Muhlenberg; William Helsley b 1804; Jacob 1775 abt. in Rowan County, N.C.; Jacob Helsley b 1729, died 1799 in Rowan County, N.C.
