Yes, an Evitts sort of did marry a Snodgrass - my grandmother was an EDWARDS whose mother was a SNODGRASS (Maude Mae) - my grandmother married an EVITTS. Who knows, there may be another one. I believe the Zachariah Evitts you mention is "my" Evitts :) Those of us researching the Evitts line seem to have narrowed it down to three - but we can't seem to get any farther back than Moses, Zachariah and another Moses....
