    3. Hello, My third great grandparents, William and Louisa McKinney Collier, named one of their children John Rice Collier. William and Louisa were married and lived in McCracken County, KY, but census and other records show that Louisa's family lived in Muhlenberg County before coming to McCracken. Louisa's father James McKinney was enumerated in the 1820 census living in Greenville, Muhlenberg County. He was living near Claiborne Rice, Samuel Rice, and James Rice. I know there was also a John E. Rice who married Jane Martin in 1826 in Muhlenberg County. I'm trying to find out what connection my Collier and McKinney ancestors would have had to the Rice families that would have caused them to name my second great grandfather John Rice Collier. Any help would be much appreciated. Best regards, Mark A. Collier

    3. Hi, I don't know anything about the Rices but can you tell me anything about James McKinney and his wife Susanna Sparks? They are my 3rd great grandparents.
