Elias was born on Nov. 8.1857 and died April 6. 1919 and was married to Alice Jane Latham. My brick wall is his father, Peter C. Mitchell. In the 1860 Muhlenberg census it shows Peter C. Mitchell, 31 years old, married to Mary E. with children, Nancy E. 5 years old and Elias M. 2 years old. In the 1870 Muhlenberg Kentucky census it shows C.T. (Calvin Thomas I think)Mitchel,55 years old, married to May E.(mary ?) with children Nancy E. 14 years old, Elias M. 12 years old and Missouri E. 6 years old. I believe that sometime in the early 1860s Peter died and Mary E. Nanny married another Mitchell by the name of Calvin T. Mitchel and that they had a daughter by the name of Missouri E. Mitchell.
