I remember someone recently working on Hunsakers. I visited a library recently that had a couple of 1850 Illinois census extracts and noted the following. I checked 1870 and found no UNDERSOOD listed and under the name UNDERWOOD no JOSEPH . There is a J H UNDERWOOD age 50.

The Muhlenberg County Courthouse is located at 100 South Main Street, Greenville, KY 42345. Phone 502/338-1441. Gaylan Spurlin in the County Court Clerk. Deeds and wills are on the first floor of the courthouse. Marriage records and misc. records are in the basement. They are gen. friendly; you make your own copies. Circuit Court records are across the street in the courthouse annex while the very old, old circuit court records are in the basement of the courthouse. To get to the old circuit court records, get the key at the courthouse annex The courthouse is opposite the Genealogy and History Annex. You'll want to stop there!
