I will get back with you in the next couple of days but it sounds like you are the Dames I would like to talk to. My brother has been in the hospital and I have kind of put this on the back burner for a while .but I'm sure you are related to a Mary (POLLY Worthington)that m. a Amos Ray and they had a daughter Elizabeth that m. a Edward McEuen. I know that Amos died on a trip going to ST.Louis and have found her in the 1850 censes in Mclean co. living not to far from her brother William. I have date's for this and some Dames family sheets but I would like to know something about (Polly) Mary Ray's brother William that m. a Elizabeth Stringer and their family. Just would like to talk to someone in the area that possible knows something about where the Worthington's in that area came from etc. My ggrandfather Bradford Worthington is a brother to Mary Ray and William Worthington they also had a sister Sarah. Scott and his wife Virginia Kennerly Scott, of Hartford, Kentucky (where James and Virginia were married as he trekked west from Virginia), and their son Nathan Scott, born on the farm in Muhlenberg, who was named for our family's first immigrant to America (from Antrim, Ireland, to Roanoke, Virginia, 1768). Hello, I thinking that my Davis family is connected with your Scott family. I am a descendant of Nathan Davis who married Mary Scott, daughter of Colegate Scott. I cannot get beyond Nathan Davis and was recently in Muhlenberg trying to find some kind of connection in Greensville at their library. No luck. I just had to write to see if you have any any info on this line. I wanted to visit the Scott Cem. while in Muhlenberg county, but my time was limited as we were on our way to Iowa. Let me know please, if you would have any idea who Nathan Davis's father was. I am down to clutching at straws. Thanks a bunch. Jeanne jlinc12317@aol.com
