    3. Hi Janette, I am interested in some of the Heltsley research. My grandmother Cessna was 1st married to a Clarence Heltsley. They married in 1916......had been sweethearts for several years...........married 4 days when Clarence drowned while watering his horse in a pond in Powderly. Grandma was 19. Two years later, she married my grandfather. However, she when she got very old, she would talk about Clarence, her first love. Another woman in Powderly was Ollie Knight and she was also widowed by her husband who was a Heltsley and Clarence's cousin. Her husband died in a mining accident. After her husband died, she married Emmitt Cessna in Powderly and it was Ollie and Emmitt who introduced my grandparents after my grandfather went back to Muhl Co for a visit in 1918. He was living out here in Calif and working. They dated 3 weeks and he asked her to marry him and go out to Kentucky and she did and here we sit! But she never forgot Clarence. Warren and Susanna were married 27 Nov 1815, Caswell County NC. Susan or Susannah was the d/o Levi Blackwell and Martha Smith. Martha Smith was d/o Peter Smith and Jemima Simpson. (See Muhl Co website for Smith info.) I think Warren Weatherford is the s/o William Weatherford who left a will in Caswell County. I could have the middle name wrong (not sure). Thomas Earl Stewart was married to a Verdie Humphrey and had three children (John, Eula Mae, Lauren). Verdie died March 4, 1918. 3. HI, I was interested in getting a death cert. on Wm.B. Worthington b. March 30, 1825 d. May 27, 1902 , wife was Margaret A. Worthington b. Dec 23, 1832, d. July 9, 1907 Possible a son of William Worthington. I am most interested in getting a death cert. of a William Worthington b.May 16, 1796 died July 18, 1871 wife Elizabeth Worthington b. March 8, 1810 died Feb 19, 1878.Believe strongly that he is a brother to my great grandfather. They are all buried in the Poplar Grove cemetery ,formally called Faith located in McLean co. however they are in the Muhlenberg co. census .Would any of the names have a death cert. there.I have a picture of the cemetery stone in the cemetery and now would like the death cert. And would like to get in contact with anyone tracing this family and their descendents. A lot of Worthington's married into Ray,Dame, Galloway ,Richards. I would be happy to pay for copy of the death cert. if you can find them. You can forward this to anyone that can help me also if need be. Thanks so much ,Joyce Worthington Brewer-e-mail laveta35@insightbb.com -----Original Message----- From: Fran Salyers [mailto:fallingoaks@mac.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 11, 2006 2:18 PM To: KYMUHLEN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [KYMUHLEN] Birth Index 1874-78 is Complete Dear friends, I have finished entering data for Muhlenberg County births for the years 1874, 1875, 1876 and 1878.
