Does anyone have any information or know where I can find information about the Second Battalion Mounted Rifles? I've been told this was a company of soldiers from the Morgan County area who fought for the south during the Civil War and that my gr gr grandfather, Wilson Buchanan (aka W.B. or possibly Willis) CARTER, fought with them.
