The records referred to were filmed by the Kentucky Historical Society sometime during the 1950's. I believe the LDS microfilms are basically copies of the Historical Society microfilms with their own headers attached, but I could be wrong on that. I've never used the copies at the Kentucky libraries or archives. (I only get to Ky about once every other year, and spend my rare time there consulting things that aren't easily available from here in California.) I do not know when the book became incorrectly bound. It may well have been sometime in the 1800's, long before they were filmed by anybody. I simply noticed this anomaly on the microfilm that I was using. The original records are not in the counties. They were annual reports sent to the state auditor.
