I live in Southern Ohio, we are called hillbillies and are on the receiving end of jokes all the time , especially from Northern Ohio people. My roots go deep into Eastern (East!) Ky and then back to Hancock Co Tn.I am 1st generation buckeye........ I was not offended by the KY jokes, and if someone wants to put them back up with Southern OH hillbilly in place of KY that's ok by me, The same jokes were on another genealogy list I am on except........ they were about WV........ I have taken my personal stand against political correctness, I just refuse to participate.......As long as it is in a joking manner, now if you get personal and talk about my grandpa them is fighting words.
