Greetings to all, I am hoping that someone out there in "Cyperland" can help me. Looking for info on a Sam Vancleve and a Lula Ferguson-Vancleve. In the 1910 Morgan County census, Panthers Branch Precinct # 233 it reads ; Vancleve,Sam M2 23 Ky Farmer Lula (married 2 yrs ) M2 23 4 ch,3 living John F. 6 Azza (Dau) 5 Corbet 1 The Azza listed here is my grandmother, Azza Havens Barnett. John F. is John Frank Havens, This two childern are by Lula Ferguson's 1st spouse, Williiam "Wiliie" B. Havens, who was the son of, William F. Havens & Hannah ( surname unknown ). And was born about 1878 and died ( i think ) in 1904. Lula Ferguson is the daughter of John C. Ferguson and Nancy Caroline Nickels, she was born March 1886. My grandmother ( Azza Havens Barnett) passed away May 31,1981 in Plymouth, Ohio......She never spoke of her mother ,Lula Ferguson, just always said that her Dad died young and she was raised by her grandparents. And, believe it or not, her children( at least the ones I have spoken to) have no idea what happened to her mother and are unsure of how her father did die. I only found out by last week that a second husband did exsist.....to say nothing of more children !! So, I am hoping that someone will read this and be able to fill in some of the blanks for me.
