    3. Hello, I would be interested to know if an Ambrose Wadkins/Watkins was listed. He was listed as being a member of the 5th before he joined the 10th. Here is what is listed on his military records: Ambrose Watkins Co. B Enlisted Feb. 10, 1863 Prestonsburg, KY Captured while absent sick at Salyersville April 30, 1863 at age 17 to Johnson's Island June 14, 1863 and then to Point Lookout Oct. 30, 1863 where he took the oath Jan. 10, 1864. Served previously 5th KY Inf. His possible cousin John Wadkins/Watkins also joined the 10th and was a little older then Ambrose. He may have been in the 5th also. Thank you for the lookup.
