Here I am again. I had several requests from both Morgan and Bath Countians to let them know about my GGandmothers Death certificate. If you remember, I had gotten my GGgrandfather William Augustus McKenzies death certificate that had been doctored either thru the son trying to protect his father or someone at the clerk office deciding the son had made a mistake. The name should have read William McKenzie son of Rebecca McKenzie and Thomas D. Perry. Instear it read: Rebecca Perry and Tom McKenzie. Well, Williams wife was illigitimate too and we knew it but after williams death certificate was found I had to find Permelia Brown McKenzies DC as well to see what it said. Here is the content of it. Maiden name of mother: Amanda Brown Birthplace of mother: Morgan Co. KY Filed May 1, 1919 Mrs. W. Bach signed Wilgus Bach May 3, 1919 This DC gave no place of burial either I am sad to say. So, this clears up the mystery once and for all that the father to all of Amanda Brown's children was indeed a man named Wilson. It was said he was called Dr. Wilson. Anyone with an ancestor nicknamed Doc. Dr. or what ever Wilson....please let me know who he was so I can continue my lineage.
