This is the LAST posting I will be making re: Brown mini list. This has blown way out of proportion. The purpose of the Morgan County Mailing list is asking for and sharing information on our Morgan County ancestry. This includes asking and sharing info on locations in Morgan County, etc. However, it does not include making postings that are specifically directed to members of other mailing lists. Had a posting been made stating that a list had been formed for those researching the surname "X" and those interested in joining that list could do so by sending a private e-mail to the founder of the list, nothing would have been said. Sending a posting to Morgan List or any other county list that is specifically for members of another list of any type, is inappropriate.
