Phebe J. married a man last name Wood, thats all I know on her. I do have a picture of Dorcas, alittle one, which I've been frantically looking for since we moved in July. I put it in a safe place and forgot the safe place, just like a woman. I don't think she looks Indian. My dad looks Indian, high cheek bones, black hair and his skin color is brick red, like an Indian. He has blue eyes, this is a story he was told from his mother Dora Lewis, that they come from a tribe of blue-eyed Cherokee's. I heard that story all my life even when my grandmother Dora was alive. My dad says I look more like his side of the family, the Lewis's. I don't know about the Prater line and the Cherokees. I just recently received info from a Prater cousin, Peggy Sue Wilson, on the Praters, havent diguested the who scope of family info. Good luck on the Cherokee research. My husband is Cherokee and I'm doing research on his family line, the Vernons. I have copies of his family's Indian papers from Georgia before they left for Ok. His Ggreatgrandfather spent 13 years in El Reno prision for being a rennagade Indian and clubbing a few wifes to death. If I find Dorcas Lewis picture I'll send you a copy, need to send John Wills a copy also, he's a cousin to all this also. Take care Kathy Noah
