George Washington Prater b:nov 7,1813,Tazewell d:nov.5,1888,Petersville Lewis Co KY...married Sarah Jane(Sallie) Pruitt dec 9,1834,Tazewell.She was born 1819 and died 1891. James Monroe Prater b 1859 Morgan Co.d:1929 Yukon Okla. marr Nancy Emily Dalton 1880 Lewis Co,KY...Nancy b: 1864 Magoffin Co Ky d:1934 Louisville Ky. Oscar Allen Prather b:1884 Lewis Co d:1976 Yukon Okla marr Sarah Francis Moore.these are my grandparents. James W. and Phebe had 10 children...George w. and Dorcus were siblings. I have a list of their 10 children and some of their descendants. Dorcus P. and Harmon Lewis had 11 children...I have that list also.Would you like me to mail you this Prater info? Most of the Praters were Union Army vets....I was wondering about Dorcus and Harmon. I noticed they named their son Jefferson Davis.I figured out their list of children from 1860 census records and some bits and pieces from the Morgan Co. website.
