He married first to Nancy Fitzpatrick, d/o John Fitzpatrick and Sally Dennison. They were the parents of; James Fitzpatrick Auxier John Auxier, 1804 Nancy Auxier 1806, married William Dyer Thomas Jefferson Auxier Jr,1808 Leaza Auxier, 1811 married William Evans Isaac Auxier, 1814 His second marriage was to Nancy Furbush Large on May 23, 1822, in Lawrence County, Kentucky.
