Hi all, I need some help with my HOWARD and PHIPPS lines. Stephen Howard married Elizabeth Phipps in Morgan Co.; 1846. I believe he was the son of Moses and Mary (Polly) Patrick Howard. Elizabeth was the daughter of John and Cynthia Howard Phipps. Did Stephen die or divorce Elizabeth? Their two sons were living in the household of Moses Howard in the 1850 Morgan Co Census; Levi (3) and Stephen (1). A Margarett Howard (20), was living with the family, as well. Is Margarett (Elizabeth Phipps)? Elizabeth Howard is listed in the 1860 Census as the head of the household, with Levi (13), Stephen (11) and two daughters, Martha (5) & Cyntha (4). If Stephen died or left the family, who is the father of the girls? A Stephen Howard married Rebecca Minix and they are listed in the 1860 Census with children; Harrison (4), Lark (2), and Sarah Jordan (5).
