Here's a few questions regarding the Morgan County KyGenWeb site for you all. Answers most appreciated :) Take a look at this site: > Belfry High School Yearbooks > Our Community Then and Now > http://KyUSA.addr.com/Yearbook I don't include information for living persons in my genealogy for their privacy. Would setting up yearbooks online be an invasion of privacy? It sure would be fun to have access. I used to love going through my dad's and uncles' Louisa High yearbooks. This project is sure labor intensive. Is there a copyright on the older yearbooks (and what is the oldest one available for a Morgan County school?) Does anyone on this list have a very old (one where perhaps its unlikely that the folks are living now) yearbook?
New to the list. I feel the photos were already placed in the public eye when they were placed in the year book. I don't know about the copyright law on this. But, I do think it's a great idea, I have quite a few photos to post of Floyd Co students myself. The few that I have online now have gotten a positive response. My photo's belonged to my great Aunt Thelma Daniels who was a teacher for many years, they are not from a year book but the actual photos. Thanks for the link for the Belfry School books, I grew up at McVeigh, Pond Creek. Jean
