Dear Jane, I don't know how accurate this may be, but it may be something to try to check out. I have saw that Elizabeth is Mary Elizabeth Campbell born in Perry Co, Ky, buried at Southfork Cemetery in Morgan Co. George K and Mahala are listed as Elizabeth and Thomas Nickell's children. I was interested because I descend thru the Nickell's, Cottle's, Wyatt and McClure. Hi Mary, I'd like to know more about your line. I wonder if your Cottle line goes back to Martha Francis Baker who married Uriah Cottle? Do you know if they are in your line. I know that there was a Mary Campbell who married a John Jackson Baker according to some things I've seen on the internet and she had a daughter named Elizabeth who was called Betsy. She married twice, once to a John Shepherd and then to a James Hendrix. Is this the Elizabeth that you are talking about? or her mother who may have been an Mary Elizabeth. I have been trying to find out more about this family. Are you from that line or are you trying to find out if you are from that line? Let me know because I have some other information on it, however small it is. I think that this Mary Elizabeth Campbell Baker is a different one then the one who was he mother of Eliza Baker Childers, Elizabeth Bettie Baker Nickell, Nancy Baker and Martha Francis Baker Oditt Cottle. But I hope to hear from you and maybe more about your line. Maybe we can piece some things together. Thanks so much for writing to me. My e-mail address is janemce@sbcglobal.net .
