Barbara, Just received the book "Raids and Skirmishes - The Civil War in Morgan" by Joe Nickell and came across the following information about the Lemaster family which I thought you might be interested in: p. 15 "Dick Lemaster's wife was the focus of another tale. Once while her husband was away in military service, some Confederates came to her house and one forced her to boil some eggs. The others having left, when the water became hot, Mrs. Lemaster threw it in the soldier's face." p. 33 Under the heading Union Troops, Co. K, 45th Ky.
