Stamper. "This is a picture of Elizabeth Frisby born November 10, 1822 at Rawleigh, NC. she was the daughter of Moore Stamper. She had 4 brothers Calvin, Jeff, George and Jim. and 3 sisters Carline, Angaline and Sally. there we nine children in her family. There are nine children in her family Leander, Jim, Harve, John, Frank, Greenville Washington, and Milburn Lafayette and daughters Ellen, and Jane. John her husband was killed in April 1863 during the War between the states on Caney Creek Morgan County Ky. Matt Hurt was the man that killed John J. Frisby yours and my grandfather. Eliazabeth Stamper Frisby died March the 8th 1896 near Frenchburg, Menifee County Ky. Her son Thomas Franklin Frisby died April the 16th 1917, His son Greenville Washington Frisby died January 30th 1929. This picture is for John Frisby.
