    1. Re: [KYMORGAN] Ingram and Halsey families
    2. Nancy, I haven't delved into the Swango line very much. I do know that Dr. Stephen was married several times other than to my Lizzie. He was married to Belle Shakelford. He and Belle had a daughter, Leva. (My family called her Levy.) Belle died. There is a Swango website you can join. It is a good source for Swango info. Dr. Swango and Lizzie separated at some point and he remarried. As far as I know Dr. Swango did not have any other children. There was more than one Dr.Stephen Swango. This one was Stephen S. Swango. I believe the other one was his nephew. Many of the Swango men were doctors. I wish I could help you more with this. 3. Barbara The Kentucky Gazeteer shows no Spring Hill in Morgan County. Robert Rennick's "KENTUCKY PLACE NAMES" shows a Spring Hill in Hickman County, and a Spring Hill Depot P.O. in Henry County, and no others. May be a purely local name. 2. James B. Ingram married Elizabeth Caroline Halsey, daughter of James Harry Halsey. I don't have the marriage date. Would like to find more information. James Bo Ingram died of complications from the measles, May 13, 1887. James "Bo" and Lizzy had three children, John Mason Ingram, Martin Luther Ingram and my grandmother Rosa Lee Ingram. Some time after James's death, Lizzie remarried to Dr. Steven S. Swango, a distant relative of James Ingram. Any information on James Ingram's family or siblings and parents of Lizzie's Halsey family would be most appreciated. James' death notice was printed in the Hazel Green newspaper, but no info on where he was buried. Carolyn Lamb
