Just got Memory Hill up and going and believe me it has been an effort, I am a computer dumbo. But God works in mysterious ways and tonight it just went together. Of course it is in the baby stage and Hazel has lots of info to add, hopefully I can get it on there. If you decide to look at the site and it isn't to big an imposition would you give Hazel a call and tell her you saw it. She would love to hear from anyone. # is 743-4482. WE do plan to add some genealogy of Daniel Williams and family. Thanks a million, Sharon http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~memoryhill/index.html
Can anyone out there in Morgan Land tell me how the Coldiron Cemetery got it's name, as there are no COldiron's buried there.
James B. Ingram married Elizabeth Caroline Halsey, daughter of James Harry Halsey. I don't have the marriage date. Would like to find more information. James Bo Ingram died of complications from the measles, May 13, 1887. James "Bo" and Lizzy had three children, John Mason Ingram, Martin Luther Ingram and my grandmother Rosa Lee Ingram. Some time after James's death, Lizzie remarried to Dr. Steven S. Swango, a distant relative of James Ingram. Any information on James Ingram's family or siblings and parents of Lizzie's Halsey family would be most appreciated. James' death notice was printed in the Hazel Green newspaper, but no info on where he was buried. Carolyn Lamb

I would like some info on Washington McGuire. I think he was from Morgan but may have been a surrounding counties. Thanks, Von
I sure do need some help here. If I get what I want, I'll have my Patrick family line all tied up and set for life. Elias Patrick was born between 1775 and 1794 according to census records in Floyd County. He married Mary Wilson, a sister to the Charlotte Wilson who married I believe Reubin Patrick. According to the 1820 and 1830 census Elias and Mary had two sons and three daughters. Elias committed suicide in 1829, so in 1830 and 1840, Mary was head of household. They always lived within spitting distance of the Coffee families. Of all the Patricks in Floyd and Bath Counties in 1820, only two of those families wound up in Morgan County when it was formed, namely Rueben Patrick and the widow Mary Patrick. My 3x great grandparents Samuel and Emilee Coffee Patrick married in Morgan County in 1832. They lived quite close to Rueben Patrick, Mary Patrick, and the Coffee's in 1840. The 1820 Floyd County census and the Morgan County census of 1830 show that Rueben and Mary each had two sons in the age category to have been my Samuel Patrick. In 1840, they each had one son in the age category. I find that Rueben did have a son Samuel, but that Samuel was born the same year my Samuel got married. What choice do I have left?? Of the five children evidently born to Elias and Mary, I find only three names; Bryce, Priscilla, and Rebecca. Can someone out there please give me the names of the other two? And hopefully one name will be Samuel!!!!!! I'm going to post this on several lists, so if you see it again, just delete all but one of them. Thanks. Concerning the Maddox lineage: I was hopeful that I would find the name of Luci Elin Maddox in the list below but didn't. Luci Elin Maddox (b - July 1859 in Morgan Co., d - June 01, 1923, Tillman Co.
