Well, at least CHRISTOPHER WOOLS was on the Fayette Co., KY tax rolls in 1788. We don't know where he came from. They did live in Montgomery Co, KY and I assume from 1788. CHRISTOPHER, b: abt 1745, d: Jan 1801 in Mtg Co., KY Married Elizabeth (no last name), b: abt 1749, d: Sept 16, 1814 or May 20, 1810 in Mtg Co., KY They had 4 children: PHILIP b: abt 1771 ?, d: abt 1817, Wayne Co, IN - Married Hannah Wagle abt 1798. CATHERINE b: abt 1773, d: Oct 6, 1844 Mtg Co, KY. Catherine raised her nephew John Wools after her sister Peggy died. SUSANNA b: abt 1777, d: abt 1841, married John G. Smith DANIEL b: Sep 4, 1779, d: Jun 8, 1861 in Clay Co., IN married Elizabeth Butts abt 1805. MARGARET b: Sep 4, 1779, d: Dec 2, 1816 in Mtg Co., KY I have a lot of missing information. How did they get here from???England???? Where were they married? Where were the children born?? Where did they live before coming to Montgomery Co, KY?
