Hi, Judy - My Rachel I'm pretty sure met George Mc in Montgomery County KY when they were both children. George came to Ripley County IN in 1818 or so, and I believe made the trip to Clay County in January around 1830 - 1832. I have an exerpt taken from a statement made by one of George's cousins about the 10 inches of snow they encountered in Clay County when they arrived in their covered wagon. I also see where an orphaned child was reared by a Rev Francis Yokum in Clay County. I'd be happy to look at your line. Thanks for the help - Alan McCullough
