Bob, Thanks for your speedy response and family info. I find that I don't seem to have anything in my files on the Strange/Payne family at this time. I've researched many counties and branches over the years. I'm almost certain that if you look into Harrison Co., In (Corydon) you will find more on the Strange family in the early 1800's.
