Robbintina: I am kin to old William Calk whose dau Elizabeth married old Thomas Stevens about 1787. Thomas Stevens removed from Montgomery/Madison Counties about 1815 & came to Greene Co, AL and from there he went to Shelby Co, TN and from there to Spanish Texas in 1834. Thomas Steven's daughter Elizabeth married Edward Freeman whose family was from Madison Co, KY (Samuel) Freeman. Thomas & Elizabeth are my 3rd great grandparents. I did a lot of research back in the pen & pencil days & just signed up to see what was happening on the internet. I have that they married in 1809, but that is all I have. Also, do you have birth dates for Elizabeth Stevens and her siblings. I have Tamer b. 18 Jun 1787 and Thamer b, 18 Jun 1798, but nothing for any of the other ten. Most of my interest in the Calk line is collateral due to intermarriages between the Calk, Catlett, and the Orear/O'Rear lines. I have quite a bit on the Orears and some on the Catletts.
