    3. Lee: I'll get the group sheets in the mail in the next day or two. I've never seen any evidence of a twin sister for Thamer or Tamer. I think both names refer to same person. I had contact with a Smith family member at one time, but no longer hear from him, but it was not Allen T Smith. Madison Stevens is the proper name as I saw it in several deeds in Walker Co, TX. Mary Zelo Zasco has had her name butchered all to pieces at one time or another. Family legend has it this was name of a Russian entertainer that they took a liking to and gave the name to their daughter. Andrew J Stevens did go by the name of Jack. I have seen the transcription of old William Calk's diary and would like to have a copy of your book. Thanks. Paul Dafft

    3. Does anybody have access to - or a printed copy of - the tax lists for Montgomery Co. from 1813-1818? I found my Josiah Bryant on the tax list in 1803, 1810 and 1812 but the film I was looking at only went through 1812. In 1818 Josiah is in Floyd Co. I would like to know if he is on any of the other tax lists in Montgomery Co. I would also like to know if Gabriel Bryant appears on the tax lists during that time (1813-1818). Gabriel is Josiah's son and they are both on the 1820 census in Floyd Co. Josiah is on the 1810 census in Montgomery Co. but there are two children listed with him I cannot identify. On the 1810 tax list it shows two male adults living in Josiah's residence. I can't identify the other adult either. The tax list was made in April. Does anybody know what the enumeration date was for the census? Thanks, Marsha DeepRoots@sisna.com
