I have pages 6 through 9 of the book Scholl, Sholl, Shull Genealogy, which somewhat follows the line you are researching. My connection is through the Scholl/Morgan line who married into the Shortridge line. This book is by a John William Scholl and is catalogued CS71, S381930 if you can find it in your public or genealogical library. I do not have the entire book - just these 4 pages. These pages include marriages into the Boone line - "Joseph Scholl, b. 1755-6 m. Lavinia Boone." On page 8 - "The William Scholl family seems to have removed to Kentucky about the same time that the Boone family went there, and were quite intimately associated with them." Don't know if this will help but "hope springs eternal". Joseph and Carloline (Wills) Scholl were living with her parents in the 1860 Census of Mt. Sterling, Montgomery County, Kentucky. He was age 23 and a teacher and Caroline was age 19. I find this couple in the 1870 and 1880 Census of Jeffersonville, Montgomery County, Kentucky where I loose track of them after that. I would love to know about the Scholl branch of this family. Heresay only is that Joseph Scholl is somehow related to the Boone family. But I have yet to see or find any proof of this. I do not know where in Kentucky Joseph was born or died. I have speculation that his father may also be a Joseph Scholl, just don't know at this time. Does anyone on this list know of this Scholl family.
