I don't know where to ask this question. I have been away from genealogy for a while. Do you have to have a subscripion for information on Genforum now? I can't access beyond the Home page. I know this isn't Montgomery County genealogy but don't know how to find out. I think with the Ancestry take over of the Genforum is now called a message board.. or a surname board..... http://www.rootsweb.com/ then under MESSAGE BOARDS , click on SURNAME then when you get there, just above the area where you type in a name is a wee word MESSAGE BOARDS . Click on that one... then you can click on the LETTER OF THE SUR NAME YOU WANT ... I tried it out with the name of Judy.. so I clicked on the J then another page came up and I clicked on the Ju, then again another page and I clicked on the Jud and from there a page came up with a mess of names on it and I clicked on Judy and presto... AT LONG last,.... I had arrived.... Maybe you should do what I do and print this off ... gone are the days of simplicity at rootsweb.... They think this is so much easier... BTW there are Judy's in Nicholas Co. PS: I knew a John Judy in Hawaii in the early 1960's.... I think that he was in the Marines there at Pearl Harbor... I worked in the PX.... And if my memory is correct he was from KY, my husband was in the Navy....
