William died in Montgomery Co., KY, in 1949 and is buried in the McIntosh Cemetery in Montgomery Co., KY. William's death certificate lists his parents as George Patton and Phoeba Ann Martin. William, Sarah, and their children were listed in the 1900 thru 1930 Jeffersonville, Montgomery Co., KY, censuses.
