William Lane left a will dated 23 May 1808 which was admitted to probate in Montgomery County on 5 Dec 1808. In the will, he mentions his wife, Letty L. Lane and his son, Henry Smith Lane naming both along with a friend, Benjamin Thompson as executor of his estate. He also notes bequest to "my other children". Since the son, Henry Smith Lane would probably be of age to be named as an executor then he probably would have been born about 1785-1789. According to the biography of Henry Smith Lane given at <htttp://bioguide.congress.gov/scripts/biodisplay.pl?index=L000060>, he was born 24 Feb 1811. Is this Henry Smith Lane a Junior?
