I was told the cemetery was near Camargo about 50 feet by 50 feet in size and was discovered when a bulldozer doing a road project scraped up some bones. It is thought to be a pre-Civil War cemetery. There are no tombstones. I am in Lexington. The Mt. Sterling newspaper is not available here. Can anyone put the newspaper notice on line? Can anyone put a map of the location on line? Tracing the deed back to the pre Civil War era should be something which can be accomplished. I suppose no one has done that. The ad in the newspaper I am told was placed by the state and required by law before removing the cemetery. Bill LaBach.
