Hello I am new to this list and would like to find information pertaining to Howard's Mill in Montgomery Co Ky. I was told my ancestor George Howard b 1781 NC m Sarah ? lived in the area and that he was the son of James Howard who owned Howard's Mill. I can find no proof of this. George and Sarah ? Howard had the following known children: William b 1803, Cornelius b 1804, Sarah b 1814, Joseph b 1818 James "Big Jim" b 1821 (my line), Thomas b 1822, Phillip b 1823, Jesse Kendall b 1827. I would appreciate any help with info on George's parentage or his wife Sarah's maiden name. George and Sarah later lived and died in Elliott Co Ky. Thank you. Janett Howard Bailey
