Based on the birth dates, they may have married in Montgomery County about 1800-1802. However the Marriage Records for Montgomery County were burned in 1864 during the Civil War, so that removes any possibility of proving marriages before 1864. During the 1960, the late Mrs. Hazel M. Boyd and others inventoried the Cemeteries in Montgomery County and this gives some indication of some Montgomery County marriages. This information is available from the Montgomery County Historical Society or from the library of the Kentucky Historical Society. Mrs. Boyd's papers were donated to the Montgomery County Historical Society (PO Box 861, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353) and may have more information on the Howard family.
