Philip Charles appears on the 1830 census, in Estill Co., with wife Fanny Powell Charles and it shows a daughter under 5 that would belong to Fanny maybe. Philip nor Fanny is on the 1840 census, does anybody know what happened to them? Fanny was born in SC, don't know where. Did she go back to SC?
