    1. Re: [KYMONTGO-L] List Info.....Call for each one to share ancestors!
    2. Hi, My ancestors I am researching started out in Montgomery first then seemed to have moved to other areas. My Simon Holleran came to the US from County Clare per the 1920 census in 1864 but I cannot find him in 1870 other than his marriage to our Bridget Clancy in 1870 at the St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Sterling. I know that there were also two other Simon Holleran's in this County so they could all be related as a lot of our Elder Hollerans are buried in the cemetery for this church. My Simon and his wife Bridget are shown to be in Centerville in Bourbon County by 1900 where they were before this I have yet to find. They raised their 7 children in Bourbon County and some seem to have married others from Scott County. What I am basically trying to find out here on my Holleran's is the relationship to the other Simon Hollerans and to figure out if the Micheal Holleran in Bourbon County is my Simon's brother Micheal? Simon's parents stayed I am told in County Clare their names were Micheal and Hannah with a Micheal being the name of his only known to us sibling. Bridget Clancy she was the daughter of John Clancy and Mary McCarthy Clancy O'Laughlin also from County Clare, Ireland. Our John died while waiting for his wife and children to arrive from Ireland and is said to be buried in the Cave hill cemetery in Louisville. Just before 1860 my Mary Clancy married Patrick O'Lauglin who also lived in Mt. Sterling as they show by census to live next door to John's brother Timothy Clancy. What I am needing to find here is what happened to our Mary McCarthy O'Laughlin on where she is buried and our Bridget's other siblings too. Their names were Mary, Margaret, and another half sibling John who is listed on the 1860 census under the name Clancy. I have others that came from Mt. Sterling too but I have not started researching them as yet as these married into my McCord lines. I will post them another time just right now I am trying to find the two above families and info on them. Thank you, Charlotte Holleran
