Thank you in advance, Edie Suttle, jsattle9@fuse.net We Need Your Help to Create a License Plate for Kentucky that Acknowledges Historic Preservation in the Commonwealth! Several preservation minded folks have formed a group to promote the creation of a Kentucky special issue license plate that focuses on historic preservation in Kentucky. Other states (i.e. Georgia http://www.gashpo.org/content/displaycontent.asp?txtDocument=327) have already created such plates and it serves not only as a way to promote awareness of historic preservation in Kentucky but also to generate funds to promote historic preservation in all of its forms on a statewide level. Nine hundred (900) potential applicants are needed to show a perceived interest and to allow for the creation of such a plate. (KRS 200 SB 157) At this point we simply would like the name(s) of those interested as well as mailing addresses to generate an interest list. At a later date we will provide those on the list with the appropriate application.
