Found in the 1880 Wolfe Co., Ky census living in the same household: Wm.J.Rose,46,born Ky,Va,Ky Mary A.,wife,44, Campbell,Mary ,25,born Ky, widowed " John E., son,5 born Ky " George G., 3, son,born Ky " Cora B., 11/12,dau born Ky(states born in July) Wm.J Rose & wife Mary A. are found in the 1870 Wolfe Co census. with neice, Sarah Hogg Rose, 15, born Ky. Listed just 2 families above is a John Campbell 36, wife Martha 33, son John 14, dau Rose A. 3,& son Elementry, 2/12. Since Cora was a Campbell, perhaps there is some connection of the Wm.Rose that Mary Campbell is listed with & the same Wm.Rose & Campbell's in the 1870's census. And Mary Campbell named her son "John" Campbell & there was a John Campbell,14 listed for 1870?? Thoughts to ponder.
