Hey Guy, I was looking through my map again and this time I did, indeed, find a SEE! Roughly 1 mile south of Howards Mills is a J. See. Thanks Bob and Paul. Both the Knox an See families are from Montgomery and Powell Counties. I am related to these families. My grandmother taught high school in Mt. Sterling in the 30's, 40's and 50's and into the early 60's. Her name was Ila See Zimmerman. [aka G.W.] was the eldest son of the old Kentucky pioneer Michael Stoner and his wife Frances [Franky] Tandy Tribble. Guy, there is/were both families in Powell Co., on the South fork of the Red River in the 1950's. Maybe not your line but might be worthwhile to check the Red River Historical Muesem in Clay City, Ky. Paul Hall
