    3. Two Keys (Clever bit) There was some confusion at the funeral home... Two keys hung in the funeral director's office - one was for the organ in the chapel and the other was for one of the cars in the garage. The employees could never remember which key was which. So one day, the funeral director decided he'd rectify the situation by putting small signs above each key. No longer would anyone confuse the organ key with the car key. The two small signs above the keys read: "Hymn" and "Hearse."

    3. I was told the cemetery was near Camargo about 50 feet by 50 feet in size and was discovered when a bulldozer doing a road project scraped up some bones. It is thought to be a pre-Civil War cemetery. There are no tombstones. I am in Lexington. The Mt. Sterling newspaper is not available here. Can anyone put the newspaper notice on line? Can anyone put a map of the location on line? Tracing the deed back to the pre Civil War era should be something which can be accomplished. I suppose no one has done that. The ad in the newspaper I am told was placed by the state and required by law before removing the cemetery. Bill LaBach.

    1. [KYMONTGO-L] Need HELP with John Stewart, d. 1827 in Montgomery Co., KY
    2. D & J
    3. I need help locating a will for John Stewart who died in Montgomery Co., KY in 1827. This John was born about 1775 (state of birth unknown at this time), married Mary Polly Wright in Bourbon Co., KY on December 1, 1795; and then he moved his family from Bourbon to Montgomery Co., KY where he died in 1827 (probably towards the latter end of 1827). The Stewart Clan magazine states this John left a will and I desperately need to know where to go to get a copy of this will and also his estate settlement papers, etc. I would like to plan a trip to Montgomery Co., KY as I think this John is my ancestor, and I believe his kinfolk came from Scotland. Can you recommend places to visit in Montgomery County, etc., that would make my trip most beneficial? Also, some of John's children moved to Indiana and then on to Polk Co., Iowa where some Vice children are found living in their households. Do any of these names ring a bell?
