    1. Re: [KYMONTGO-L] HAPPY New Year!
    2. Charlotte Holleran I live now in Flint, MI I am researching Clancy, Holleran, O'Laughlin in Montgomery County. All of whom lived in Montgomery County. The Clancy's starting from the mid 1850s, Mary Clancy later married to Patrick O'Laughlin by 1860 after our John Clancy died. They show as married and the Clancy children in the household in 1860 by census. Then we know due to church records that both my Simon Holleran and Bridget Clancy married at St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Sterling the winter of 1870. All these folks are known to have come from County Clare, Ireland. We also have a lot of unknown Holleran's buried in the cemetery for this church too. So it looks like most of them first settled in Mt. Sterling before moving on to other counties. I would love to know how these folks all fit into my lines.

    3. Hi, I'm Pat & have been working on the family history for a few years now. I just lost about a third of my database in switching to a new computer--- always remember to back your stuff up FREQUENTLY ;-) Family surnames are Flack, Johnson, Raburn (or Raybourn, or however), Spears, Fletcher, Kirtley, and Slone or Sloan. Happy hunting to all. 2. Hazel Burns
    3. Hi - I'm Hazel Allee Burns - my great-great grandparents William Allee and Elizabeth Owen Allee lived in Montgomery County, KY from about 1815 until 1829. They moved to Montgomery County from Barren County, KY, and moved from Montgomery County, KY, to Putnam County, IN. Seven of their 12 children were born in Montgomery County: Mildred/1818, David/1820, Ruth/1821, Andrew Jackson/1821 (my ancestor), Joseph/1823, Isaac/1825, and Charity/1827. Three of their spouses were Bridgewaters - wonder if that family also lived in Montgomery County and might have moved with them to Putnam County, IN. My brick walls are: Why did William and Elizabeth Allee move to Montgomery County, why did they leave Montgomery County, where did they live while in Montgomery County, and names of neighbors. I'd be happy to pay one of your local genealogists/family historians if they'd check land records for the period 1814/1829. The 1820 Montgomery County census should have them listed. Or there might be some church records - they were Baptists. If you are interested, please get in touch with me at the address below, and we can discuss what is needed, costs of research, etc. Hazel Allee Burns 4035 Greenwood Drive Fort Pierce, FL 34982-6150 Tel. 561-466-2764 e-mail:[email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeannie Dalrymple" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, January 05, 2002 12:41 PM Subject: [KYMONTGO-L] HAPPY New Year! > > Lets have a roll call....... 3. New Hampshire Master Burial Sites Database The New Hampshire Old Graveyard Association and the New Hampshire Society of Genealogists have teamed up to create a comprehensive listing of all burial sites in the State of New Hampshire. The master site is located at: http://nhsog.org/nhoga/sites/nhoga_x1.htm and you may select by town or by site name. In either case, you can locate the site, along with its latitude and longitude, or GPS point, and then opt to display a map of the area produced by Topozone.com at: http://www.topozone.com. The burial site is indicated on the map with a red cross-hair icon. This excellent research aid for genealogists should be a model for other states considering such an online project.
